About the event
The Advanced Criminal Law Studies Committee (ACLSC) organized the first edition of Introductory Trial Rounds in the Academic Year 2025-26 from 21st July to 22nd July 2025, in a commendable manner, which was orchestrated and led by the convenors, Tarun Gowda D and Kirti Krishna. The proposition was based on a case of criminal robbery where there was an attempt to cause grievous hurt or death. With the target participants of the event being first-year law students, this event was constructed and held with an aim to hone their interest towards advocacy and trial proceedings. This event was laid out as one of the initial platforms for the first years to cultivate teamwork, critical thinking, and legal reasoning while replicating court-room procedures through role-based trial exercises.
