LEGAL PRISM CONFERENCE

An event where innovation, research, and articulation meet fresh perspectives and contemporary ideas.
The Legal Prism Vol. 1 is the first-ever edition of the Advanced Criminal Law Studies Committee’s official annual publication, and The Legal Prism Vol. 1, Issue 1, was inaugurated in the Academic Year 2025-26. It is a student-run flagship publication that serves as a powerful and robust platform for fostering academic excellence, enhancing active student participation, while ensuring that the goals to promote critical legal scholarship and research in various fields of criminal law are fulfilled. This notable milestone of the committee marks another stepping stone in the venture of the committee’s commitment to challenge entrenched paradigms while vocalizing student opinions through their intellectual growth and scholarly debates regarding the same. This publication invites submissions from across the School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) to be featured as pioneers in academic publications regarding contemporary laws entrenched within the criminal world while establishing principles of justice.
The goals of the launch of this publication are:
i. Publication in an ISBN-Certified Book:
The Legal Prism is a peer-reviewed academic volume bearing an ISBN number and thus the selected research papers will be checked and ensured that all published works are formally citable and recognized within the academic community.
ii. The Opportunity to Present at the Conference:
The paper conference held on July 29th, 2025, serves as a platform where the shortlisted authors will be invited to present their work before an esteemed panel of judges.
iii. Awards & Recognition:
To honour scholarly merit and oratory excellence, the following awards will be conferred:
I. Best Paper Presentation
II. Best Speaker Award
