About the event
The Advanced Criminal Law Studies Committee (ACLSC), School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, organized a Panel Discussion on the theme “Admissibility of Scientific Evidence: Challenges, Standards, and the Future of Forensic Policing.”
The panel discussion was held on Friday, 19 December 2025, during class hours from 10:50 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Conference Hall 105, Central Block.The session featured Adv. K. B. K. Swamy and Adv. Naman Vankdari as the keynote speakers, and was moderated by Dr. Shilpa M. L. The discussion aimed to critically examine the evolving standards governing scientific evidence and its implications for criminal adjudication and forensic policing.
The event was open to law students from the 1st to 4th year and LL.M. students, which saw participants turning up in huge numbers making the event a success.
