About the event
The Advanced Criminal Law Studies Committee (ACLSC) opened the SLCU courtrooms for the highly anticipated Internal Trial Ranking Rounds for the Academic Year 2025-26 on 25th August, 2025. With the proposition revolving around personal grudges, including high-profile names and tense political accusations, which escalated into murder, these rounds invited students from 1st to 5th years to participate. This event, spearheaded by Tarun Gowda D, Convenor of ACLSC and Event Head, consisted of two stages, with the first being a Procedure-cum-Researcher’s test, which was a fair basis for testing and selecting students on their knowledge of the proposition, logical reasoning, and other relevant legal statutes about criminal law. After meticulously filtering students, the top 30 teams were selected to participate in the second stage, the oral rounds.
